Thank you to Maryam for attending this meeting. She spoke very eloquently and passionately as usual. It was much appreciated by everybody there and led to some interesting discussions afterwards between the minority of muslims there and members of the Sheffield Humanist Society and the other non religious attendees. These conversations were polite and respectful and more of this dialogue needs to happen if things are to change for the better in the future.
All the best for your continuing campaigning and future talks Maryam and hope you come back to Sheffield again in the not too distant future.

Maryam – what a powerful and impassioned speech you gave, you are truly inspirational. At times like this, I wish that I still lived in London and were able to be more active in your campaign.

    Best wishes.
