14 March 2012 – Sharia Law and Human Rights – Queen Mary, London

Maryam Namazie will be speaking on ‘Sharia Law and Human Rights’ on 14 March 2012 at 7pm in the Skeel Lecture Theatre in Francis Bancroft Building at Queen Mary, University of London, Mile End Road, London E1 4NS.

This meeting is in place of the 16 January meeting that was cancelled due to Islamist threats. The meeting has been organised by the Queen Mary Atheist Society. For a map, click here.

Please note that anyone attending the event who is not a student or staff of QM must register in order to be admitted into the event.

    You should NOT describe the location as “University of London”, as the latter is federal institution spread all over London. [could crack at joke about confusing Serbia with Yugoslavia, but I can’t think one up in time…] Better to call it “Queen Mary”. I can speak from experience as my work involves directing members from the wrong college to the right one, by which time they are often too late…
    If you don’t you will just end making things easier for the enemy….…
