Across Iran, the region, and the global diaspora, people have risked everything for Woman, Life, Freedom, demanding a society grounded in rights, equality, and human dignity.
Today, those aspirations face renewed pressure. Authoritarian forces, whether draped in religion or wrapped in nationalist flags, are growing louder, while progressive, feminist, and secular voices are pushed to the margins.
Across the world, the space for free thought, secularism, and open debate is under increasing strain. Independent media, able to challenge power, defend rights, and give voice to dissent, has never been more essential.
Bread and Roses TV, hosted by Maryam Namazie and Fariborz Pooya, is preparing to return to air from May 2026 in Persian and English, providing a platform for open debate and critical discussion.
To return to full independent broadcasting, including satellite transmission into Iran and across the region, we must raise £10,000 by 30 April.
These funds will cover one year of essential satellite broadcast fees, along with studio hardware and software.
Without this funding, Bread and Roses TV will not be able to return to air.
Bread and Roses TV exists to defend the principles at the heart of Woman, Life, Freedom, and to uphold free expression, secularism, and the right to think, question, and speak without fear.
It provides an independent space where ideas can be challenged, debated, and heard, free from censorship.
If you believe independent, rights-based media matters, we ask you to contribute today.
Whether you can give £25, £50, or £100, your support will help bring Bread and Roses TV back on air.
